This little blog was just sitting on a virtual shelf collecting dust and weighing on my mind.  I have written multiple posts and additions, added multiple fantastic sites and slide shows- in my mind.  Often in the wee hours of the morning or during a marathon of dish washing or laundry folding- when the house is clean...when the dishes are done....when a rainy day hits and all those above mentioned things are finished.....I'll put something down.  For reasons truly not known to me- people keep asking me about feeding a family, finances, marriage advice, organizing, and about raising boys. I must admit the first thing that pops into my self-doubting head is "Have you seen my house?" "Have you been paying attention to my life?" and I realize I am glad we cannot all read minds.  But, in reality, many of these people have seen my house, and they have seen my life and been thru life with us for many years
So, in my attempt to wipe away self doubt, I decided to just write.  Maybe we are all just trying to find a greener side.  Well, I'm not sure this is it, but I do know that It's not so bad on this side of the fence.  Don't get me wrong- there are times- when life feels like it is caving in- but I have Faith that God has something incredible ahead of us and the walls seem to pop back into place.  There are days when I really want to fast forward or just start over.  There are days when the coffee just isn't strong enough- or when the baby drinks all the creamer (Yes, that would be Noah) or waters the plants with it (yes, that would be Owen).  BUT, there are other days when things just fall into place.
So....here it is.  My pearls of wisdom. A recording of imperfection.  My journey thru faith, marriage, parenting, and feeding my kids!  Welcome to my side of the fence.

    Katrina.....mom

I have 4 boys.  They were perfectly picked for our family.  I love my husband. I strive to be more Christ like, a better wife, and a better mom each day- to which I fail often and keep trying.  I live in Texas with my family.
